HAPPY MONDAY, ATHLETES!
This morning, Kina shared a video she made with fellow RTK-er Danny Pudi (of NBC's Community).
The video ties in to this week's Fundraising Challenge & prize:
Everyone who raises a total of $300 or more by Wednesday, April 4th will be entered into a drawing for one of two prizes: a five minute Skype call with Kina, OR a Community script signed by Joel McHale! That's right, TWO winners!*
We have ONE MONTH left to reach our goal of $50,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and, right now, we have raised just north of $10,000. Do you think we'll reach our goal? I certainly do! See below for some fundraising tips....
FUNDRAISING TIPS FOR SUCCESS:
- Make sure to personalize your website, if you haven’t already done so. Upload a picture and explain why you’re participating in RTK! Problems with the website? Contact Breeana.Garrett@lls.org
- List your online fundraising link in the signature of your email. Also, ask family members/friends to add the link to their email signatures. Example: "Your single act of donating could save a single life. Why wait? I'm raising funds for cancer research. To learn more, please visit my website [insert URL]."
- Take advantage of Social Networking. Post your fundraising link on your Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter updates. Ask your friends to donate their status for the day or week to your fundraising link. You'll be amazed at how the donations come in!
- Don’t be afraid to ask! You’ll be surprised at how many people will want to support you. Most people have been affected by cancer in their lives and just remember – you’re doing an amazing thing and saving lives!
